Quality

Quality at GR1T goes beyond engineering - it’s a promise. Every motorcycle is backed by rigorous standards, sustainable choices, and dedicated service, so you can ride with confidence today and tomorrow.

Homologation

GRT Motorcycles will be homologated and certified for use in the European Union by our manufacturing plant. Homologation is the process whereby our manufacturing operations and production models are certified for use on European roads. The homologation of GRT Motorcycles is covered by the EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) Regulation (EU) 168/2013. According to our current schedule, this means that both our street and scrambler models will be homologated and authorised for use on EU roads and highways by late 2026.

Quality Standards

All of our parts, whether sourced from third party suppliers or made by us internally, are certified according to CE Mark. If you have discovered a technical defect or flaw, or would like to report a quality issue, please contact our Customer Service and we will be glad to help you.

  • ISO 26262: Road Vehicles Functional Safety
  • ISO / SAE 21434: Cybersecurity for Vehicles

Battery Replacement

All GR1T Batteries are manufactured by a third party vendor. We offer a warranty such that any Battery that falls below an 80% maximum charge in the first 6 years from the date of purchase can be replaced by GR1T at no cost to the Motorcycle Owner.

In order to take advantage of the battery warranty, you must return the existing Batteries to GR1T for recycling or repair and re-use.

This warranty shall not apply if the Battery/ies has been subjected to any of the following:

  • improper installation, including use in a vehicle or application other than that for which it was specified;
  • physical damage, including but not limited to cracks, leaks, case deformation, impact damage, immersion in water, fire or chemical exposure;
  • misuse or abuse, including overcharging, under-charging, prolonged deep discharge, or use of non-specified charging equipment;
  • the use of non-approved parts, modifications, or repairs performed by unauthorised personnel;
  • lack of routine maintenance or failure to follow the Owner’s Manual instructions;
  • storage or transport outside the manufacturer’s specified temperature, humidity or charge conditions;
  • the Battery has been transferred from the original vehicle to another vehicle (unless explicitly permitted).

In the event of a warranty claim, the Battery must be returned to an authorised Dealer/Installer for testing and replacement. Proof of purchase or of identity must be provided so we can verify ownership. The cost of returning the batteries is that of the Motorcycle Owner.

Any replaced Battery becomes the property of GR1T.
