Our First Electric Motorcycle Prototype Is Complete (And It’s Everything We Hoped It Would Be)

At GR1T Motorcycles, we believe the future of urban mobility belongs to those who design with purpose, engineer for performance, and dare to build something better. Today, we’re proud to announce that our first full electric motorcycle prototype, developed in partnership with Wheelab in Italy’s Motor Valley, is complete.

And we’re just getting started.

Built for Real Riders

Our prototype is already being put to the test, literally. In the past weeks, we’ve taken it out onto Italy’s roads under a wide range of real-world conditions. City traffic. Country roads. Motorways. Potholes. Summer heat. Rainstorms. You name it. By the end of the summer it will have done several thousands of kilometers and we will know exactly what we can do better.

Italy’s roads aren’t known for being forgiving. But that’s exactly why we’re testing here. Because if our electric motorcycle can survive and thrive here, it can thrive anywhere.

Behind the scenes, we’re also running industry-standard bench testing to validate everything from power delivery and brake performance to vibration resistance and overall durability. Every component, every weld, every cable is under scrutiny because good design isn’t good enough. It has to be great.

Our design and engineering partner, Wheelab, is based in Italy’s Motor Valley, home to some of the most iconic names in performance vehicles. Wheelab’s team has helped bring to life products for some of the top global brands in two- and four-wheel mobility.

Beyond their technical brilliance, they’ve been an absolute joy to work with: professional, precise, imaginative, and, most important of all, great people. This prototype is just as much theirs as it is ours.
