GR1T Develops New Off-Road Electric Motorcycle on Existing Platform

At GR1T, our mission has always been to re-imagine what electric mobility can do: for individuals, industries, and the planet. Following the successful development of our urban electric motorcycle, we are excited to share that work is now underway on an off-road electric motorcycle, based on the same modular platform.

This new model is designed to meet the growing demand for electric two-wheelers that are not just powerful and sustainable, but also adaptable across a wide range of use cases: from personal adventures to corporate, governmental, and even military applications.

Expanding electric mobility into off-road terrain

Electric motorcycles are often thought of in the context of city commuting. But the potential of electric powertrains in off-road environments is immense. Our off-road model inherits the lightweight frame, powerful 11kW nominal / 25kW peak motor, and upgradeable dual-battery system of our urban bike. This means exceptional handling and high torque delivery, even on steep or uneven ground. Riders can expect a thrilling yet stable experience, with instant acceleration and no gear shifting required.

One of the clearest applications is for private owners and adventure riders seeking an electric scrambler to explore forest paths, mountain trails, or beach routes. With removable batteries and charging from any standard outlet, the rider is independent from charging infrastructure. The near-silent ride offers a deeper connection with nature and leaves a smaller footprint behind.

Tour operators, particularly in ecologically sensitive regions like the Greek islands or Alpine villages, face increasing pressure to provide sustainable mobility options.
