GR1T Motorcycles showcases full Electric Line-Up at Copenhagen MC Messen 2026

2 March, 2026

GR1T Motorcycles successfully concluded its participation at the Copenhagen MC Messen motorcycle fair, held on 21–22 February 2026, where the company presented three of its all-electric models to the Scandinavian market: the G1S Street, the G1X Scrambler, and the G1XR Raider.

Participating in partnership with Nordic Motors, GR1T’s distributor and strategic partner for Scandinavia, the exhibition marked a significant step in the company’s Northern European expansion strategy.

Over the course of two days, the GR1T stand welcomed more than 1,000 visitors, including private riders, dealers, media representatives and industry professionals. The response confirmed growing interest in robust, purpose-built electric motorcycles designed not only for urban mobility but also for dual-use and adventure applications.

Strong Market Engagement and Technical Dialogue

Visitors engaged deeply with the GR1T team on key performance metrics including weight, battery range, torque delivery and top speed. The G1S Street attracted particular attention for its balance of performance and daily usability, while the G1X Scrambler’s rugged design and modularity resonated strongly with Scandinavian riders. The G1XR Raider, developed as a dual-use platform, generated interest for its durability and multi-terrain capabilities.

Beyond technical specifications, one important insight emerged from discussions with local stakeholders: Denmark does not impose registration taxes based on vehicle value or CO₂ emissions for electric motorcycles, as they produce zero direct emissions. This regulatory framework significantly enhances the competitiveness of electric motorcycles in the national market and strengthens the economic case for adoption.

For GR1T, this represents an important structural advantage as the company scales distribution in environmentally progressive markets.

Strategic Partnership with Nordic Motors

GR1T’s presence at Copenhagen Messe was delivered in cooperation with Nordic Motors, its official partner in Scandinavia. The collaboration reflects GR1T’s model of working with experienced regional distributors to ensure strong after-sales support, localized market knowledge, and customer engagement.

“Scandinavia is a natural fit for GR1T,” said Omar Abukhlal, CEO. “The region combines environmental awareness with a strong motorcycle culture. The reception in Copenhagen confirmed that riders are ready for electric platforms that deliver performance, durability and design integrity.”

The partnership aims to establish structured dealership channels across Denmark and neighbouring markets over the coming months.

Positioning Electric Motorcycles Beyond Urban Commuting

One of the consistent themes emerging from the exhibition was the evolving perception of electric motorcycles. Visitors are increasingly interested in sustainability as well as functionality: payload capacity, charging speeds, off-road geometry, and real-world range.

GR1T’s design philosophy combines removable battery systems, structural robustness and industrial design clarity and was positively received. The G1XR Raider, in particular, underscored the company’s ambition to serve both civilian and professional applications through a unified electric platform.

Looking Ahead

Following its participation in Copenhagen, GR1T will continue expanding its European exhibition calendar and strengthening distributor relationships across key markets. The insights gathered during the Messe will directly inform production planning, regulatory positioning and commercial strategy for 2026.
